  • We support students across all of K–12, with special emphasis on those navigating the college admissions process. Our guidance is tailored to each student’s stage and goals, no matter the type of educational transition they’re facing.

  • We start with a brief introductory call to learn about your family’s goals and share how our support might look. From there, we map out a plan: milestone checkpoints, tasks, draft reviews, and strategy conversations. The process is flexible and tailored to each student’s timeline.

  • Nope! Ondara’s approach focuses on empowering and supporting your family and/or student in the educational journey. We will never write content (essays, personal statements, etc.), nor will we submit application materials on your behalf. The same applies for communicating with schools, with the occasional exception which would be explicitly stated in a client meeting.

  • We are based in the Kansas City area, but will happily take on virtual clients throughout the United States. Ondara has special expertise in the Nashville and Kansas City private school markets, in addition to the college landscape across the US.

  • We maintain regular, clear check-ins via meetings (virtual or in-person, if located in KC area) and email or as needed. The frequency depends on your package and your student’s timeline, but families always know what to expect at each stage.

  • Pricing varies depending on the level of support. We provide clear pricing quotes before any commitment, and payment plans or phased options can be arranged if needed. Please see our Packages & Pricing page for more details on packages.

  • For college admissions, helpful items include transcripts, recent grades, a list of schools or types of schools you’re considering (if any), standardized test scores, extracurricular activities, and a sense of your goals and priorities.

    For K-12 admissions, transcripts and recent grades can be useful. More often, initial meetings are most productive when your family has a sense of what you’re looking for in a new school.

  • Admissions and scholarship outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. While we provide strategy, support, and guidance, we cannot promise admission to any particular school or guarantee scholarships.

    Ondara Educational Consulting does not fill out financial aid (FAFSA, CSS, etc.) or scholarship materials, nor give any in-depth financial advice as it relates to paying for education. Additionally, we are unable to provide any test preparation or tutoring services.
